Chocolate Chip Banana Bread


In my opinion, one of the best feel-good songs for a girl to listen to is “Just the Way You Are” — Bruno Mars.
Pair it with this chocolate chip banana bread, and you’re bound to be smiling in no time.

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Ingredients:

3 ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 cup melted butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a large mixing bowl, combine the bananas and the butter with a wooden spoon. Mix in the sugar and eggs. Add the baking soda, baking powder and salt and mix until combined. Add the flour, mix. Add the chocolate chips, and stir until just incorporated. Pour batter into a buttered/lightly greased bread pan or muffin tins. Bake for 40-50 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes, and then complete cooling on a rack. Remove from pan and slice to serve.
